# How to Create, deploy and edit shared and template AI Agents at Partner Level

The partner-level Agent Builder is designed to give agency partners the ability to create, manage, and deploy agents across multiple user accounts. This functionality goes beyond the standard user-level agent creation by enabling template and shared agents, which provide flexibility in how agencies deliver AI capabilities to their clients.

In this article, we’ll walk through the step-by-step process of creating an agent at partner level, highlight the differences between template and shared agents, and explain how to deploy and manage these agents effectively.

## Step 1: Accessing Agent Builder at Partner Level

- Log in to your partner agency account.
- Navigate to the Partner Level dashboard.
- Click Create an Agent. This opens a chat window, which automatically launches the Agent Builder tool.
## Step 2: Defining the Agent’s Purpose

- Begin the process just as you would at user level.
- Specify the aim or objective of the AI Agent.
- The system will automatically scan available integrations and plugins to determine which are connected and usable.
## Step 3: Scan

Type Scan to search for available plugins, integrations, and connected integrations that your agent can use to help your AI Agents complete their Tasks

## Step 4: Brand Tone

Select whether the AI Agent should use your brand tone or be brand neutral.

## Step 5: Unlocking Agency Mode

After answering the question in Step 4, the system begins generating workflow, audience, and tone. On this first question. Enter the password you will have been given by Maybe*:lv+5bIT3?rE1. This unlocks agency mode, giving you access to create template or shared agents that can be deployed across multiple accounts.

## Step 6: Choosing Between Template and Shared Agents

### Template Agents

Template agent enables you to create an agent that your clients can add additional knowledge to, but you can still maintain editing rights over and you can choose which clients you give it to. Ideal for special use cases.

### Shared Agents

Shared agents get deployed to all your client accounts. They have your specialist knowledge, they contain your intellectual property and your clients cannot add further information to them other than in the thread of their chat.

## Step 7: Pro or Guided

Select whether you want to build your AI Agent in Guided or Pro mode.

🧑‍🏫Guided Mode - I’ll walk you through each part step-by-step, helping refine mission, tone, capabilities, and workflows.
• ✍️Pro Mode - You’ll paste your full specification upfront, and I’ll assemble everything at once.

## Step 8: Completing the Setup

- Follow all the steps until you get to Create Agent Now.
- Once created new template agents will appear in account/user list and shared Agents will appear in Agents list.
- Assign a category and tags to the agent - this ensures agents are organised and accessible.
## Step 9: Deploying AI Agents

For Templates Agents:

- From the partner dashboard, navigate to Accounts.
- Search for the account where you want to deploy the agent.
- Open the account, locate the Template Agents section, and select the desired agent.
- Toggle it on, and the agent will be deployed into that account.

For Shared Agents:

- From the partner dashboard, navigate to Agents tab.
- Find the AI Agent you want to.
- Toggle it on, and the agent will be deployed into all accounts.

Additionally:

- When creating SaaS plans, you can associate template and shared agents with the plan.
- This ensures that new accounts automatically include selected agents upon creation.

Note: If the agent being created is to be used solely in workflow automations or MAKE etc then you can toggle off the chat UI toggle this will hide it from the chat UI but the agent is still on.

## Step 9: Editing and Updating Agents

- From the Agents or accounts/users template list, find the agent you want to update and click the edit icon.
- This reopens the Agent Builder on the original creation thread.
- Any changes made to the master template automatically cascade to all deployed instances of that agent.
## Best Practices & Considerations

- Clarity for clients: Ensure you explain the difference between template and shared agents to avoid confusion.
- Session management: Close other AI chat sessions during creation to avoid caching conflicts.
- Categorisation: Ensure all AI agents have a category and tags for management.
