# Troubleshooting Spud - how to fix an issue you are experiencing with Spud

Most issues with Spud have a simple fix. Work through the relevant section below. If nothing here resolves it, the feedback channel is always the right next step.

SPUD IS NOT RESPONDING

When you get silence

Spud is not responding to my messages. What do I do?

Start by checking your connection. Log in at yourai.liganova-mash.com/auth/sign-in, go to Configure, and check that your tools are connected. A lost connection is the most common reason Spud goes quiet. Once reconnected, try your message again.

---

I have reconnected, but Spud is still not responding.

Try sending your message again from scratch. If it still does not respond after a second attempt, report it via @Spud I want to give you feedback or log it at spud.bot. The team monitors all reported issues.

SPUD GAVE THE WRONG ANSWER

When the output is not what you expected

Spud gave me an answer but it is not what I was looking for. What should I do?

Start by asking harder. Spud's output is directly shaped by the specificity of your request. If the first answer missed the mark, add more context and ask again with a sharper, more detailed prompt.

If a more specific prompt still does not get you what you need, that is important information. Report it via:

@Spud I want to give you feedback in Teams, or go to spud.bot

Your feedback is how Spud gets better. Every wrong answer reported is reviewed.

---

ASK HARDER FIRST

Vague prompt, vague answer. Before reporting a wrong answer, try again with more detail. Tell Spud the client, the objective, the audience, and what format you want. A sharper question almost always gets a sharper result.

SPUD SAYS IT DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS

Missing tool connections

Spud is telling me it does not have access to something. What does that mean?

It means a tool integration is not connected. Spud needs explicit connections to Float, Box, Instagram, and other platforms to access data in those systems. If access is missing, it will tell you.

---

How do I fix a missing access error?

Log in at www.spud.bot and select login

Go to Configure.

Find the tool that is missing and connect it. Once connected, go back to Teams and try your request again. If the tool appears connected but Spud still cannot access it, report it via @Spud I want to give you feedback.

---

I connected the tool but I am still getting an access error.

Report it. Use @Spud I want to give you feedback in Teams or log it at spud.bot. Include the tool name and what you were trying to do. The team will investigate.

---

A TASK FAILED OR DID NOT RUN

When something goes wrong silently

My scheduled task did not run. What should I check first?

Log in at yourai.liganova-mash.com/auth/sign-in and check the task configuration. Confirm the schedule is set correctly, the frequency is right, and the delivery channel is connected. If everything looks correct and it still did not run, report it.

---

Why did the Agent fail?

Spud's results are monitored, so failures do not go unnoticed. But your feedback makes it faster to identify and fix the root cause.

Report any failure via @Spud I want to give you feedback in Teams, or log it at spud.bot. Include what you asked, what you expected, and what happened instead.

---

REPORTING AND FEEDBACK

How to escalate and log issues

How to report a problem or give feedback

Two ways to do it:

In Teams: type @Spud I want to give you feedback and Spud will guide you through a few quick questions.

Online: go to spud.bot to log and track feedback directly.

Everything submitted is monitored by the team. Bugs, wrong answers, missing access, and feature requests all go through the same channel. Nothing gets lost.

---

Can I see the status of something I reported?

Yes. Log in at www.spud.bot to view and track feedback you have submitted. Everything goes through the same system so nothing gets lost between Teams and email.

---

FEEDBACK IS THE UPGRADE PATH

Spud gets better because people report what is not working. A wrong answer left unreported stays wrong. One reported gets fixed. Use the feedback channel freely.
